Vehicular Pinball

Top Women learned how to drive in the deep snows of the north and midwest as kids, so nothing stops us from getting in our cars and getting to our destinations except ICE!

  1. The scary thing about ice that severe is there really is not much you can do. Once traction is gone it is insanely hard to get it back. From personal experience (and advice from those older folks) the best thing to do is to let off the brake and gas and hope your wheels catch again. If they do, slowly steer yourself into something like a yard or snowbank. The main goal is to get yourself off the road. The other thing to remember is to be very careful getting out of your car when it finally stops. Other cars are going to have the same trouble and will not be able to move around you or your car. The guy on the balcony in this video was awesome. He kept shouting out when another car was coming. On a road that slippery, prayer is probably the best you can do.
